On last Tuesday, October 27, 2009 KMM had conducted Workshop International Accreditation Preparation Strategy at IPB with three guest speaker. There are Dr Nastiti Kusumorini, M. Sc (Faculty of Veterinary, Bogor Agricultural University), Dr. Ir. Feri Kusnandar, M. Some points that can be summarized from workshops Lesson Learned is, as follows:
- The condition in every department is different, so starting point for each unit to get the international accreditation / approval programs also vary.
- Requirements for accreditation of institutions / association are vary, but there are the same general requirements that must be done (including explaining of curriculum competency-based, program outcomes and learning outcomes, facilities, staff, organization, and the tracer study).
- Programs should be formulated in the general direction that supports the achievement of international accreditation or are supportive to the development of international programs (if not lead to international accreditation).
- Preparation of activities need to be guided and directed so that the PS / departments achieve "minimum requirements" are internationally recognized. And this needs to be implemented step by step.
